The Lenco-MD was a project initiated by the Qeske community and carried out together with reprapUniverse, Struqt and PCiD, with the support of Lenco. From concept to realization of the prototypes, I was responsible for the creative direction of the project, as well as project management and promotion.

The Lenco-MD is the record player of the 21st century. It is 3D printed, modular and made of renewable green materials. The Lenco-MD rethinks the classic concept of the record player. Although its design is inspired by classic Lenco record players, its characteristics are not. It is built by you, community driven and upgradable. All this with great audio quality and an aesthetic design.

The first functional prototype of the Lenco-MD was first presented at the IFA Berlin 2018 (Consumer Electronics Fair) where it was ranked as top 3 best innovations.  It was covered extensively in the online and offline press around the world. In 2019 this project was successfully funded on Kickstarter for over 50.000 euro.
