Private clothing is a Belgian-based livestyle brand with its roots in youth- and board culture. They have strong DIY ethic and make a point about producing their clothing in a fair and sustainable way. This collaboration focused on the fall collection of 2019.
The design was completely drawn by algorithm: the individual leaves as well as the overall composition around the logo are produced by the programming platform Processing. Private has a long standing tradition in weird titles for their shirts and clothing, that’s why I chose to name this one “leafes”, both being a non existing form of the verb “to leaf (something)” and a false plural of the word leave.
